There is a level at the beginning of the game where you face 2 computer oppenents at the same time with Ryvern and Some girl.

Anyways on the bottom of the board is an area where you are forced to stop at and gives you the option of purchasing "symbols"

What is this...what is the advantage of this? Why would I want to buy any of these? If it gives a bonus...does it only give the bonus to me or to everyone?

Symbols are similar to...stocks.

If you feel like an investor who does business in the stock exchange, this is for you

I advise you to play with symbols only after you've mastered the main elements of the game.
