This might be asking a bit much but if someone has the mind to do so I would love to see a list of all the Idols along with a laymans explaination of what each of them really does?
Thanks

Hey- Why not? Ive been trying to get the idol medal anyway so Im pretty familiar now- Ill skip the cost. they're all 40-70 I think.
Note- Idols can not equip weapons or scrolls and are defensive creatures- all idols have the same base stats of 0 20
In order of memory:
1- Brass Idol: All Cepters will draw two cards on each turn. (Unless you're using a spell and summoning a creature every turn, or your deck is heavy in discard requirement creatures/spells- get ready to throw away a lot of cards.)
2- Ebony Idol: Creatures in play can not use territory abilities. (Say goodbye to the usfeulness of Hyde, Archer, Conjurer, Barometz and Healer)
3- Iron Idol: All cepters will roll 4-6 (self explanatory- mistletoe works well with this idol)
4- Basalt Idol: Creatures can not use battle abilities if destroyed or at the end of battle- (in other words- events and abilities that are triggered by the end of a battle no longer happen- i.e- Wendigo will not cast "fog" on the territory after the battle)
5- Cray Idol: Damage done by spells or territory abilities will decrease by 10- (Pretty self explanatory)
6- Granite Idol: Cepters can not use "single use" spells except for "Dispel" (Check the cards symbol on the upper right hand side- if its a single lightning bolt- and its not Dispel- you can't cast it)
7- Ivory Idol- S type cards cost 1.5 more to cast, R and E type cost twice as much. (Ignore the awful wording on the card)
8- Gold Idol: Creatures will ignore both land requirements and discard requirements when being summoned- all you have to do is pay the base g cost.
9- Marble Idol: Creatures already in play can not be summoned again while Marble Idol is in play- (great against single color users.)
10- Silver Idol: Defensive creatures will attack first
11- Jade Idol: Territorry levels can't be lowered except by territory abilities.

I would say that the Marble idol is pretty useful against a lot of opponents, if you have only one of each creature type while your opponent has multiple. Works really well against Morroc.

I thought Ivory Idol DID make S-rarity cards stronger? At least I remember it made creatures stronger...

As far as the Ivory Idol goes, the description on the card is very poorly worded. The first time I tried to use it, I thought that it would power up my rare creatures, but yes, in fact, it just simply made them cost more.
Card Description: Ivory Idol (S) (NC) ST:0 HP:20 G:60 Item Limit: xWeapon xScroll Defense The S rarity cards are 1.5 times stronger, R and E cards are 2x the magical usage power.
A More Accurate Description: Defense S rarity cards cost 1.5 times more, and R and E cards cost 2 times as much.
And I have to take issue with the previous post that states that the Silver Idol allows "defensive creatures to attack first". The idol actually gives defensive creatures the "First Attack" ability - so in other words, invading creatures with the "First Attack" ability will, I believe, still attack first.

Hey Utawoutau- Thanks for posting the clarification regarding the Ivory Idol, I hadn't had a chance yet. And as far as the Silver Idol, I didn't really think it needed clarification though you are correct that creatures with First Attack will still strike first if they are in the offensive position.

Yeah, Utawoutau, you're right. I was going for the Cosmic Mystry medal and realized that the Ivory Idol just upped the cost of the S, R and E cards. Maybe I was hoping for an easier time with the Chief of the Extraordinaire medal that requires you to use only S-rated cards...

Hey, that Marble Idol is pretty cool. I wasn't too hip on idols until I tried them out to get the medal. But in that I found out that if I combine the Marble Idol and 4 Changlings, I could slowly change his deck into goblins and with the Marble Idol down he could only play one goblin. Think about that when you are potentially changing 8 cards into goblins per turn.
But I did say POTENTIALLY, because Changling seems to pick 2 cards at random to change. If one card is already a goblin, then of course it will stay a goblin. But if you can get it to work, that Marble Idol kicks in pretty well to seriously restrict the opponent from placing other creature cards down. I beat Zagol many times that way.
