Now I'm not sure what part of this forum to post this but I hope this works. Now I have found very little info on this card capture and really need to understand further on how it works. Say I have 3 kelpies and my friend has one. Now would he get one of mine giving us both 2 each or would he get 2 and I still have 3? And is the cards you get random or can you choose the ones to get? Or does it just come from your collection? This could help me to no end to understand this to explain to him. Thanx Much, SotL

it is as azuretide stated, during card capture u can only get random cards that the loser has like for example....i win and i set it to capture 4, im looking for a certain card...but chances are slim seeing how there are so many other cards the opponent has in his entire card collection, me in my case i was looking for vorpal sword, i had to play my cousin 5 games to grab his vorpal sword. i had 1 already but i wanted another so i cant trade for it so yeah o well IT RANDOMNESS!!!! HAHAHA

I can't follow your question? He's asking if his opponant wins and captures a card of his that he has multiple copies of, does he lose one of the copies, or does his opponant just get one. For example, you and I play a match and you win. Say you capture one of my Dryads. I have 5 in my collection and say you have 2 in yours. He's asking that if you capture a Dryad from me does it become: Me: 4 Dryads, You: 3 Dryads or Me: 5 Dryads, You: 3 Dryads Basically, do I lose the copy he captured, as well, or does he just get another copy and my stack is left alone?

o i get it now if in that case thee loser actually loses one of the cards perminently. so if u have 1dryad and i have 2 dryads and i win, the result will be
u having 0 dryads and i have 3

Card Capture works slightly differently when playing against multiple opponents.
If you only have 1 of the card that is captured, the game will "create" an extra copy or two so each opponent gets one.
If you have multiples of the card being captured, you will lose 1 copy per opponent regardless of how many copies you actually have in your deck.
Can be a rude surprise if you aren't expecting it.
