Mandrake

I just got the mandrake, and haven't had a chance to test it out yet. When it says it will destroy the opponent when its (the mandrake's) HP are 20 or less, does that include 0? In other words, if the mandrake is killed, does the ability still activate?

If so, that's a sweet card. If not, then not so much.

I'm 99% sure that Mandrake's ability doesn't activate if it dies. I've never used it, but the item "Gem of Life" has the same ability, and it doesn't work if the user is killed.

I'm 100% sure mandrake's ability doesn't activate if she dies, and that goes for the gem of life too if your creature is destroyed
