I'm not sure where to post this but decided to post it here rather than The Haven, so that more peeps can have access to it. Also this does involve some sort of a creature combo.
The following is lifted from the GameFAQs forum. _____________________________ From: KaiserSword | Posted: 2/1/2004 8:31:32 AM | Message Detail I know that you can combine battle gear alpha and battle gear beta to make bundle gear. But I found another one by using Carbuncle and supporting him with a Dragon Fly and he became Carbunfly !?
I was just wondering if there were any other combinations like this? Does anybody know?
Maybe we can make a list. : )
From: ExMortis | Posted: 2/1/2004 3:52:02 PM | Message Detail Wow. I tested this in all skepticism, and it's real.
Carbunfly (green creature) 40/40 G:100 + Red x2 Item Limit: xScroll First attack. Reflects scroll attack to the opponent. Transforms into Carbuncle if destroyed in battle.
You are the ever-loving bomb, KaiserSword. I have no idea how anyone would go about finding other combinations if there are any, outside of pure luck... good job with this. </I> _____________________________
I've obtained permission from KaiserSword to post this here, and as you can see, our dear ExMortis had already confirmed his discoveries. Hopefully we could get more peeps working to discover more since KaiserSword is considering making a list if there are indeed more to be discovered. Let's not forget to give our kudos to this guy for making such a noteworthy finding.

Awesome find! I have a theory about this but I'd prefer to do some testing before I say...here's hoping.

I've now confirmed this myself. When you summon Carbuncle then use Dragonfly as support, the words 'Unify' will appear and you get Carbunfly. This is an E card. The 2-D animation of Carbunfly on the board is hilarious, the Dragonfly is lifting Carbuncle up by its armpits and flapping its wings!

Just thought i'll make everyone's job alittle easier by listing all the creatures w/ support abilities. I do not have all these creatures yet, so i got them from the faqs.
Neutral Battle Gear Alpha Battle Gear Beta Cleric Squonk Trojan Horse
Creature that can be be used as an item: Living Shield, Spear and Sword
Earth Carbuncle Dryad Grimalkin Odradek Sage Woodfolk
Fire Sharazad Son of Ascetic Valkyria
Water Bloody Pudding Pirate Wizard
Wind None
Known Combos Bundle Gear = Battle Gear Alpha + Battle Gear Beta Carbunfly = Carbuncle + Dragonfly
I also have the same post over at GameFAQs.

I hate to put a damper on the concept of finding more of these, but I did some checking and I highly doubt there are any more creatures we are unaware of. I'm actually a little surprised no one spotted this before (unless this is a recently updated code), at the codebreaker website they have codes for each creature as well as all red/green/etc creatures. On the green creatures page, Carbunfly is listed, along with Gooba (which supposes it is possible to have these as cards you could put in a book, which is normally impossible). The page in question is www.cmgsccc.com/ps2/index.php?multi=110&page=5From there you can find your way to the other colors and neutral, which I did. They also list Bundle Gear, but there were no other new cards. Assuming that whoever came up with these codes was thorough, that's a pretty good argument that there aren't more mystery creatures. But I'm pretty anal retentive, so I started checking Japanese sites with card lists. Sure enough, Carbunfly is on all of them. Unfortunately, nothing else new. I'm not gonna say I'm 100% sure there are no other unifiers, but at this point I'm about as certain as I'm going to get without someone testing every support creature combination in the game (and to any who are, good luck!).

You wrote the answer. Therefore, I also write. "Culdcept II EXPANTION OFFICIAL PERFECT GUIDE (enter brain)" (ISBN 4-7577-1214-6) which is a Japanese book states, the combination of deformation of those other than Carbunfly and Bundle Gear does not exist.

Sounds kinda like "Brundlefly" from the movie The Fly, doesn't it?
