The 4 groups, are they choices (1 excludes one or more of the others) or can you join them all on a play through? Kind of like guilds or more simply rights of passage? Become creator of a new world... ok I'm guessing the translation made this a bit more lofty than it really is? lol It's already been mentioned no achievements based on neutral cards, do they still show up in numbers/force or less prevalent? Avatar items I'm guessing are wholly apart from [item] cards? Anyone detail this further? Some of those achievements look challenging, need the US game ASAP so I can start working towards 'em heh heh ;D Wonder if there's any ranking system/closer matching as well? I'd say I hope so, tho it could make 10 wins that much tougher

I think it would be better to have this posted in the actual achievement thread but I'll give you the answers I can here.
The 4 groups, are they choices (1 excludes one or more of the others) or can you join them all on a play through? Kind of like guilds or more simply rights of passage? I personally have the same question. I think it would create quite the replay value for 4 different "guilds".
Become creator of a new world... ok I'm guessing the translation made this a bit more lofty than it really is? lol The story of Culdcept usually runs along the lines: Collect all the cards (or beat the game ;p) and become creator of a new world. I believe the manga touches up on this in quite a humorous manner with their portrayal of all the worlds; some being in a game (ie Dreamcast). So I'm sure it will fall under "beating the game."
It's already been mentioned no achievements based on neutral cards, do they still show up in numbers/force or less prevalent? They still show up in number and there are some great Neutral cards.
Avatar items I'm guessing are wholly apart from [item] cards? Anyone detail this further? Avatar items are similar to earning medals. You accomplish a set task/goal and you are rewarded with said item. These can be selected to customize your Cepter's outfit to give a bit of your own style.

There are actually more Neutral cards than any of the other colors. There are 58 neutral cards, and only 45 cards for each of the colors, and under 10 dual cards, I believe. Many of the avatar parts are actually items from cards, which is neat, like the Culdra Blade and Prismatic Wand, for example. As for the groups, it's not so much "joining" as "quelling".
