Yeah, Gamestop has said May 1, 2007 for a little while now. But since it is a "first of the month" date, it is hard to tell if they know that that is a real release date or if they are guessing that it will come out sometime that month.
A little too early to call it a confirmed release date, but it is encouraging, that's for sure!

Wasn't it set in stone a while ago that the US was getting it? I suppose now it's more concrete. Either way, congrats. Hope to see everyone online soon.

Unbelievable.
That's an eight month delay from the original release date in January.
I guess they're still tracking down and fixing bugs in the Japanese version. That's what their press releases are saying anyway.

augh.... ok less bugs obviously good, more to wait bad. well at least it's pretty much March already.
I just hope they don't fall into the November trap where everything comes out including halo3 obviously wont effect us but be nice to see it get a little real recognition rather than get buried
edit - yeah OP/this thread is a little behind as it's been solid for awhile now, of course we do have date creep. but if someone told me the extra months on top now add online co-op and card trading I'd be a happy culd-cepter ;D

May as well kill this thread because "confirmed" is so relative a term now with this game. 08' is lookin good at this rate.

Get ready for slight disappointment...
From the official press release:
Culdceptâ„¢ SAGA Release date Q1 2008 Platform: Xbox 360
The strategy of board games and depth of collectible card games come together on the Xbox 360 with Culdcept SAGA. Build your own custom deck from nearly 500 unique cards, amass territory and engage the enemy to bring peace to your war-weary homeland. Players can also customize their characters and put their custom decks to the test in massive four player online clashes.
I guess I can wait six or seven more months... ugh.

I'm guessing it's more marketing too and the competition/timing of it all...
Is there a way the fans who know they're gonna get it despite other games/rushes/etc can get it, and then they do the 'real' roll-out later to those they have to sell?
Yeah, it was rhetorical, I know the answer... =b

Gamespot is now saying February 5th 2008 for the release date. Talisman also had it's release date pushed back to April 2008. I guess I can scratch that one off my X-MAS list too.

Man, I hope so! Puzzle Quest kept me busy for a while, but the repeated delays of this game have been somewhat heart-breaking.
Hey.. was there any word on pre-orders? I'd love to get a card like the Japanese release.

According to Gamespot, the release date is now Feb. 5th, 2008.
In the last month we've gone from Q1, 2008, to Jan. 15th, 2008, to the most recent change above. Let's hope this information is accurate and the date doesn't slip any further.
