Here are some more tips I've come across playing more consistently online.
1) I think going last is ideal for a many reasons. My fav though is if you have a Suppression in hand round 1, you might be able to take out a key spell right at the beginning before getting your Suppression destroyed (or suppressed).
2) Never lay a neutral creature out on round 1 if you aren't last. I did that once and the other guy started with Banishing Ray. The sad things? He killed my Ebony Idol and I started with a Suppression.
3a) Intrude allows ANY creature to invade a land. This includes defense type creatures as well (I can think of a few combos there). 3b) Never realized this since I only just started using Chariot, but it lets you move any creature two spaces, including defense types as well. Old news, I know.
4) Messing around with Revival I realized it makes your deck bigger. It refreshes your book back to 50 and ignores cards in your hand.
5) On the wiki they go over this concept called book compression. Basically, making your book smaller and quicker. It mentions how Gift is a great card for making your deck smaller since it pays you to gain a new card in its place. I never thought of it that way, though you do still lose a turn since it doesn't have repeatable casting. That'd give it true compression in my eyes.
6) It's impossible to kill a Living Mirror with Reflection on it in a fight.

Those are good tips. An invasion book with Chariot and Intrude sounds fun. Are there any cards that seem to be appearing in every cepter's books? Cards like Decoy, Gremlin Amulet, Evil Blast, and Holy Word X were staples for many cepters in the other games. All of those cards have bee toned down or missing from Culdcepts Saga.

Yeah, I actually posted my thoughts in another thread. If there is one staple card it's definitely Trespass, without a doubt. Kelpie, of course, is in no one's deck; I think it's got a "so good it's bad" thing going on so maybe it shouldn't be up there. Certainly isn't used at all. I just experimented with some things to clarify some questions I had. Figured I'd post my findings. 1) You can't use Intrusion to invade a land that has Peace. 2) You can't use Intrusion to invade a land if you are cursed with Innocence. 3) Intrusion with Leshy is legit. 4) Hold Curse is a cepter curse. It lasts 8 rounds and any cursed land that cepter has can't be re-cursed. If he has lands that have no curses on them, those can be cursed once and not again until the spell is removed. 5) Conspiracy is a cepter curse and if the cursed cepter summons a creature that costs less than their currently-in-play most expensive creature, the newly summoned creature is free. Conspiracy only looks at the creatures' magic costs. Therefore, an 80+R+[] creaure (Ba-Al) is free if a 100G creature is in play since 80 < 100. Note also that you must be able to afford and play the creature for it to be free (the magic is, in effect, refunded to you after you summon it). 6) You can't use Intrusion to invade a land with any creature that has a discard in its cost. It also doesn't sidestep creature LR. I'm pretty sure the only special invasion you can do is with defense creatures.

I'm glad to finally hear about Conspiracy. For some reason I read Hold Curse as a curse for a land which made me think it was inferior to Land Protection. Now I can enjoy it for more than just the artwork.
Intrusion with Leshy and a Silver Plow is great. I'm going to get some avatar parts today. I'll contact you when I get home on Sunday.

If he has lands that have no curses on them, those can be cursed once and not again until the spell is removed. A few questions on this one: Does this also apply to curses on the cepter himself? Does Hold Curse count as a curse on the cepter (and if so, is it possible to replace the curse on the cepter)? And does Hold Curse just prevent targeting specific lands for curses, or does it truly make it impossible to override by means of mass curse spells, or items/combat effects that inflict curses, etc.?

It doesn't apply to the cepter. Hold Curse can be overridden by any other cepter curse. It also doesn't protect any cursed land against Multiple Curse spells like Plague or Mass Phantasm. It'll only keep one from targeting it with a Single Curse spell. Also, like I said above about Intrusion, you can't use it to invade a land with a creature that has a discard or LR. This applies even if a Gold Idol is out. Also, see my above post about Conspiracy. I edited it for correctness now that I'm sure I know how it works.

For those of you with the game, can you let us know if it supports the Vision camera?

There is nothing in the game that supports Vision to my knowledge. Sorry. Surprisingly, very few games actually support this add-on.

A few quick questions for those who have the game.
Is there a limit to how many E cards you can use in a book when playing online?
Can you create AI characters like in the last Culdcept?
Does the story change on whether you win or lose? Do your decisions affect the ending?
Since everything is 3D can you change the camera angles of the board like in one of the trailers?

Is there a limit to how many E cards you can use in a book when playing online? There is an option for having E cards turned on or off. I don't think I've seen any way of having more than one per book. Can you create AI characters like in the last Culdcept? You can create AI characters using any Avatar model(created or story mode). Does the story change on whether you win or lose? Do your decisions affect the ending? Nothing changes in the game because no matter which "choices" you make, you end up doubling back over the other option. In the end you accomplish each path. Which only leaves one ending. I felt like they were quite misleading with this during pre-release. Since everything is 3D can you change the camera angles of the board like in one of the trailers? You can zoom in and out on the board slightly. As far as I know there is no angle adjusting. Hope that helps.

Thanks for answering my questions so quickly, this is exactly what I was wanting to know. I can't wait to create an AI character with the lizardman avatar from story mode, build him a good deck, and put him on my team. We will kick some serious butt in team matches versus the other story mode characters.

We will kick some serious butt in team matches versus the other story mode characters. I like how you have that all planned out. Good times. Me, I'm more of a Najaran guy myself. And take my word, few things are funnier than the King. He moves around the stage on his wheelthrone while hunched over and generally dead looking. Reminds me of how they portray Stephen Hawking on Family Guy.

That king sounds like Morroc, does he say "Running away?, you bastard!" like Morroc does. I'll bet it would be funny to face 3 AI controlled kings with crappy decks in a handicap match.

Kind of a pointless post, but I just thought I'd clarify some of the tips I gave earlier.
Firstly, I'm not sure if I made a mistake or if one of the patches addressed this, but you can't use Intrusion to invade a land with a creature with a discards or land requirement in its cost.
Secondly, you can kill a Living Mirror with Reflection in a straight fight. One way is to fight it with a Leprechaun using Storm Causer. I just had to refute the finality of the word "impossible" I used earlier.
Thirdly, Conspiracy isn't based on the caster's most expensive creature, but instead the most expensive creature currently in play.
