Hello. I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but no other forum seemed quite right. I feel like an idiot having to ask this--I've completed the game, earned all 50 medals, and gotten all the cards--but I'm curious, and also too lazy to figure it out myself.  Can anyone clue me in on how card shops work? I get the concept of paying G to acquire cards, but I'm wondering what happens to the cards you buy. Do they go into your deck? If so, do they stay there just for the duration of that battle, or do you permanently gain a copy of whichever card you purchase? If someone can answer this, I'd be very appreciative. |

...and I just found a reference to this earlier in this forum. Now I feel dumber than usual. Anyway, has anyone learned anything new about card shops lately? |

hmm well I got more than half the medals and finished the game but haven't seen those yet.. guess I got something more to look forward too..!

Yeah. You probably know already, but as you get medals, you unlock extra maps. The shops exist on some of the extra maps.

Card shops sound great! I haven't yet seen any either - do you know how many medals you have to have before you unlock a map that has them? I only have 7 medals so far, so I imagine I have a way to go.

at 35 medals, you get 5 random maps between #s 31-40. (some of these have card shops.) As far as i know, the cards you buy at a cardshop do not get reshuffled into your deck. they just stay in your hand until you use or discard them, and then they're gone. one slightly annoying thing is that the G cost of the card is charged twice. once to buy it, and again whenever you want to use it. still, it's nice to pick up a Bolt every lap or so.
