I'm on to my last medal requiring powder eater but I'm just wondering who has a dragon in his/her deck? I tried playing against the fire guy but he doesn't have a dragon in his deck.
Am I also allowed to get this medal playing against AI anyway?

Gamygan has a dragon in one of his decks. He doesn't always USE this deck though. Balberit has also been spotted using dragon. I think the best bet is Najaran, as I think she only has one deck, and there's at least one dragon in it.
The method for "unlocking" Najaran seems to be defeating Zeneth three times at Dunnan in story mode, then she'll appear in his place the next time you go. In case you don't have her.
You have to get the medal vs. story characters.

Thanks! ;D
I've unlocked Najaran already, so off I go then!
I'm starting to love seeing the board full of bouncing balls hehehehe....

I got this one by having the Silver Idol (it gives all defenders First Attack), and using a Prismatic Wand (+40 ST/HP if enemy is different element) on my Powder Eater. Dragon is 60/40 when attacking. As I recall, I did this against Balberit.
From what I'm told using Dynamite doesn't work (becuase your Powder Eater will die at the end of combat). I'm pretty sure it has to survive for you to get the medal.

Waiting around hoping they use the Dragon to attack seems a bit iffy to me. I got it by casting Paralyzing Mist on a Dragon already out, then attacking with a Claymore and an adjacent Powder Eater. Also, I haven't tried it, but I think you could cast Senility on it and use a defensive item to keep your Powder Eater alive.

I just got it now on second attempt. I chose Dunnan stage- set the board for 10,000 and wished for the best- I built an all yellow deck with about 14 creatures, 12 items and 24 spells. I only had ONE Powder Eater- so I built a deck that let me rifle through my deck quickly and also played with a Brass Idol to get two cards per draw- so that at the right time- I could have the 4 or 5 cards I needed at once. I chose Narajan as my opponent, the battle went back and forth awhile- finally I saw the Red Dragon in her deck. I had already got the Powder Eater and played it on the green- moving it as often as I could. She had two played Cait Sith's and a Gremlin on red territory- I had a knight on the final red territory. She went by and swapped the Gremlin for the Dragon- When I finally got both Ice Storm and a Claymore in my hand- I used Relief to swap my knight with the Powder Eater, followed by Rust to get rid of her Counter Amulets. I walked past my powder eater and used the territory ability to move it- Easy as Pie.

I have been trying to get this medal for some time. I have been fighting with Najaran as you guys suggested but waiting and hoping for her to play it, and then not being ready to attack it is killing me. So I can up with an idea for a possible strategy to unlock this medal easier, and I wanted to run it by you guys. Basically my idea is to fight an alliance battle me and Najaran against someone else (maybe Zagol), on a large board, and then slowing setting things up so that I can attack her dragon sometime after she has set it down. - Move my powder eater near her Dragon (both of these guys would have Peace cast on them)
- Cast Shrink repeatedly to lower the Dragon's HP
- And then when I am close to being in position casting Anti Element on the Dragon.
- Move my Powder Eater onto her Dragon's square and attack.
This strategy would be pretty cool because I could pretty much focus most of my efforts on setting up for the medal and let Najaran handle Zagol. What do you think? Do you think it would work? Would I get credit even if I killed my ally's Dragon?

If I remember right I got this medal a couple months back and I got pretty lucky on my first try. I do not remember the map but I do know we were on the third lap and Najaran was low on G I did this in 2 moves before landing on the Dragon. First move I cast Evil Blast, and hoped I would roll low. I got a lucky die roll....lol I ended up landing 2 spaces away from the Dragon and had to pay out 230 G. Now in my hand I was holding a claymore, PE, and quicksand. Second turn I went to hope fully cheat the die by casting quicksand on the Dragon forcing me to land there and fight. I had been lucky still that it was a level 1 land. To say the least I had timed it well enough that Najaran had nothing to defend that beast and I came up with a clean kill. 1 might 0/1 PE to the rescue... . Sadly to say it was a long game to finish.

Utawoutau
Utawoutau, that was a pretty inventive idea, and so I hate to be a buzzkill and tell you that all medals (except for Proof of Friendship, Two-Headed Attacker and Solitary Swordsman) must be won on Mano-a-Mano, one-on-one matches. Take it from me who wasted several hours trying for Wings of Swiftness, Roaring Fame, Avaricious Smile, Administrator of Fertility, and Roar of the Butcher (and I'm probably missing some) using 2-on-1 matches like the one described. Don't bother trying.

I picked this one up a couple of days ago. It took me several attempts, but I finally acquired it while fighting Najaran. It was a 1 on 1 on Cratos 2. I set the win limit to 24,000 or so. Temperance on the dragon when it finally came out, then surrounded it with creatures to get the support bonus. Cast anti-element on the dragon. Powder eater kept "moving" on to it to wear through the defensive items, then went in for the kill with a prismatic wand.

I've got two words of advice for this medal: Counter Amulet. I softened up the Dragon with some spells (Evil Blasts, etc), then moved a Powder Eater over when Gamygin didn't have a Fire Shield handy, and the Counter Amulet reflected the Dragon's own attack back at it.
On first sight, this medal seemed completely impossible, but actually there are any number of ways for a lowly Powder Eater to prevail over a Dragon.

here's my strategy, it's almost flawless. I played against Balberit.
1. Temperance (make Dragon's MHP=30) 2. Shrink (make Dragon's MHP=20) 3. Disease (make Dragon -20HP -20ST in battle) 4. Attack with powder eater. The battle will be over before it even starts.
(i put as many as these spells in my deck as i had, and had powder eater as the only creature, with some Prophecy cards and a level with prophets on it. by the time Balberit put down a dragon, i had one of each of the right spells saved up. then used a holy word to make sure i landed on it.)

I got this medal rather easily, I used an all-wind deck, and a long game (so by the time I attacked the dragon I had many wind lands) and used Terrair (st x 20 for each wind land owned)... The dragon was on a lvl 4 land and he had some armor, but that doesn't really cut it against a st300 powder eater.
