Temple of the Medium/Luthien

I've been trying to earn some new cards and I heard that you can earn some good cards form the Temple of the Medium map. So I played it last night with an all red deck. I won rather handly which suprised me as for hte most party Luthien has a much better deck than me. But she rarely built up her lands and when she lands on a land and needs to pay a toll she rarely fights she just pays the toll. The only thing I noticed that she really does is cast a boat load of spell effects.

Is that how she fights normally?

You can look at it this way. Luthien is the character that offers you an intro into the power of curses/enchantments.

You know, when I fought at the temple with Luthien and Ryvern, I found that Luthien was the weaker of the two. I lost the first match, but the second I won, and when I came back for practice, I usually won. But she did leave me some nice cards.
