Hi , This is my first post, I would like to comment on this deck.
The idea is to destroy all opponents' items with rust / shatter, and them to kill the creatures with strong red creatures whereas he cannot defend without item. I have chosen a full red deck, because I am very fond of Pyrodrake, Chimera and Gladiator. AS most of your creatures hit hard and you should have destroyed the defensive items, you do not need many offensive items. The aim is to manage first strikers and Decoy.
Red Creatures (22)
Pyro dRAKE X 4 Gladiator X 4 Hell Hound X 2 Fire Giant X 2 Chimera X 4 Valkyria X 4 Ares X 1 Flame Lord X 1
Neutral Creatures (3) Colossus X 1 Ninja X 2
Spells (14) Shatter X 4 Rust X 4 Upheaval X 2 Lightning Bolt X 2 (mainly for Decoy) Mana x 2 Drain Magic x 1
Items (11) Hourglass x 3 Winged boots X 1 Fire Shield X 3 Masamune x 3 Black Orb x 1

I replaced 1 Ares and 1 Flamelord with 2 Old Willow. The deck is unbeatable by the CPU If you play right. Just have to take care about who and when I have to shatter /rust and then it is almost unstoppable.

I'm not sure what cards you have, so I'll just assume you have all of them and tell you what I'd do.
I personally usually use Cait Sith for a red-creature-not-requiring-a-red-space, but since you have the heavy-hitting method with Hell Hound and Gladiator, I guess you're ok. I definately suggest you run Executors, 3 or 4 of them. You obviously shouldn't use them as creatures on the board to defend your territories, but if you need to, you have cards like Hourglass to help. They work great with Valkeria, and they can kill a lot on their own without any items. I think I'd cut the 2 Fire Giant (G cost is too high in my opinion) and 1 or 2 Hell Hound for them.
Next, I would cut out the Drain Magic and 1 Rust for 2 Influence. Every mono-color book I have runs 2 Influence and 2 of the corresponding land change spell (Upheaval in your case). The influence helps make your chains huge, and if can sometimes me used offensively too. Drain magic rarely is helpful against a computer, and 4 rust is overkill. If you don't like Influence, then run 2 more Manna, because your G costs are a little high on red creatures.
-1 Winged Boots and -1 Black Orb for +2 Petrify Stone (Or another defensive 'tool' item, I like the stone because it always stops Nucleur Fusion). Come to think of it, you may be better off with something like Catapult. Some of your creatures (Pyro Drake and Gladiator) can't use the fire shield, and are not in very good shape if they can't defend themselves alone. The Catapult will also work on the Gladiator, so I'd probably go with that one. But seeing as Gladiator is rarely used as a defensive creature, you may want to opt for the more powerful and less costly Petrify Stone. I chose to cut the Boots because they are redundant with 3 Hourglasses and I cut the Orb because there aren't enough times it will come in handy (I used to run it, it was usually a dead card)
Looking through, I like your book a lot, one of the more solid ones I've seen. I hope my suggestions help, and even if you ignore them, I think you have a good book.

hi guys... i have a mono color red deck.. i cant help but notice nobody mentioned the prismatic wand... catapult? please, under the right conditions(versus mode against someone you know has no red at all) the wand is great for creatures who cant use deffensive items; its just great period.. and the brass idol can certainly speed things up(but for your opponents too, careful you dont overspend with all them cards!) personally, if you can put four upheavals in your deck, and 4 influence, land color will cease to be an issue... just some thoughts/ideas that have served me well.. good ideas on this board.. make sure you work hard to get all the cards... takes time but its worth it (bistair, from collecting every red creature card.. a spell that does 10dmg per red land you control... think about that a minute hehe)
