Creatures: 4 Sage 4 Colossus 4 Gigantherium 3 Trojan Horse 2 Steam Gear 2 Spitting Cobra 2 Sorcerer 2 Woodfolk
Items: 1 Earth Shield 1 Talisman 1 Gremlin Amulet
Spells: 4 Shatter 4 Squeeze 4 Manna 4 Wind of Hope 2 Find 1 Land Protect 1 Polymorph 1 Turn to the Wall 1 Soltis 1 Selenear 1 Wild Growth
I'm new to the website. The deck's a little slow. Sorcerers are there to counter " Decoys." Sages to counter "gremlins." Focuses on support creatures to resist rust. Deals well against scroll attacks. I use the "squeeze" spell initially to get manna then later to destroy cards.

4 Sage 4 Colossus 4 Steam Gear 3 Trojan Horse 2 Jade Idol 2 Spitting Cobra 2 Sorcerer 2 Gigantherium
1 Talisman 1 Gaseous Form
4 Shatter 4 Squeeze 4 Manna 4 Wind of Hope 2 Find 2 Drain Magic 1 Polymorph 1 Turn to the Wall 1 Soltis 1 Selenear 1 Wild Growth
I played against my friend and he used the "Catastrophe" deck. The high creature HP's made it no problem but then I later I tried to pit it against those pesky "Chaos" decks and the "Earth Shaker" spells would make me lose the manna I spent on my territories. So after some testing I added "Drain Magic" which helped equalize it then the most important addition was Jade Idol. Then to smooth things out I took out some of the Gigantheriums to make the deck less expensive. This helped speed it up against "Ivory Idol" because the Gigantheriums were a little hindering and they had that land p[lacement restriction intitially.

This deck seems to be at risk from a few things. Attack spells like evil blast could take out a number of the mosters on your list. Also, first attack creatures might brutalize you. Those might be some things to consider in the next revision.

I would add both Battle Gears. Alpha has the highest attack of any support creature, and Beta has the highest defense. Plus they have good abilities outside of support. I like Battle Gear Alpha over Trojan Horse. I would suggest cutting Find spell, mostly because the deck is spell heavy, and you will fill up your hand too quickly. I never liked Find anyway, I think Wind of Hope is much better. Far less wasteful. So, my suggestions are as follows:
+3 Battle Gear Alpha +3 Battle Gear Beta
-3 Trojan Horse -3 Find
Aside from that, I like the deck a lot. Seems like it could be pretty powerful when played correctly.

In reply to UNDERTAKER and ACELEADER: I think most first strike creatures need weapons to be successful. Evil blast is a threat but when I play this deck I continously draw cards so i have an advantage. Since the deck has almost no weapons, the opponents item destroying spells have no use and with the near fifty percent creature ratio I play a numbers game. I usually try to occupy as many places on the board then pick according to my opponent and whether he has items or spells which of the gigantherium or sage to level up. I attack as much as possible and even waste creatures because there will always be another soon. Usually if the opponent is using damage spells they have less of another type of card, same for items. The 4 squeezes and 4 shatters and card drawing spells are there to help you remove one aspect. Spells like find are also in there to always make sure I draw another creature each turn because the deck is 50-50. I also played this deck against my MASTER DECOY deck and the only thing that saved my territories most of the time were the trojan horses and sages used as items. The horses were for late game because they penetrate and are neutral in case of protection. A battle gear w a colossus would net 110 in damage but I've played against deck that can reach that hp easily if designed to FE WALLs of Ice with hp boosting enchantment and spells on level 3 lands. So i've always felt that mid game the horses gave me a 70 penetrating creature and all creature minus aid and land effects can defend against that. You guys might be right. Don't take me wrong, I really appreciate your views. I wanna find another cool deck idea but I'm kinda stuck.

All of my criticism is meant to be constructive, not forceful. In fact, I had trouble wording my reasoning, because I myself could argue my version is worse. But, if your looking for something new to try, pick an obscure card and try to find a way to abuse it. Powder Eater is done often, but I've made decks based around Powder Eater, Permission, and Diabolical Trade (It's 4AM and I'm tired, the spell that turns all your monsters to goblins then gives you 100G for each Goblin on the board, not sure about the name). I've TRIED making deck based around Fountain/Mine and Holy Words, but it didn't work consistantly. So, thats my suggestion, just try something unique.
EDIT: I've also tried making a deck based around Leprechaun, but all the good items to give the enemy will probably kill the Leprechaun too.(like Dynamite) Aside from Storm Causer, Leprachaun stinks. Just thought I'd add that.

Thanks for the ideas. I think I've tried all those combos too! I had one idea about ta deck with practically half items and the other half creatures with teerritory abilities. Thanks again!
