Any high ST creature with a weapon? Use a ST=40 Scroll? Am I missing something here? I haven't personally had to fight one of these yet so maybe I'm missing the point of the question.

Sea Bonze's ability prevents anything from augmenting the card stats and prevents any creature abilities from activating.

I'm going to assume you mean a Sea Bonze with Land Protection, because otherwise you can just use magic to kill/move it.

Easiest way is to use multiple flash spells like Tempest and Insect Swarm to kill it. Another method is to lay a Nike or Living Claw (Saga) near it and move it over so that it'll override Land Protection with Paralysis. You can also lay a high ST creature near it and move it over until it does enough damage to kill Sea Bonze. This is easier in Saga where you can have Fay up a creature's ST by 20 each time you use her power. For instance, Colossus only needs to be boosted by Fay once to get ST=90 which is enough to kill an unaltereed Sea Bonze on a lv5 land. A spell like Time Tide (Saga) can ensure that all creatures have their base ST/HP values.

Don't mean to jump in, but Colossus cannot be targeted by TAs or spells, but Death Scythe would work.

Actually, he can be targeted by flash spells in Saga, but he cannot be targeted by curses. He can, however, be cursed temporarily during battle; for instance, if hit by Nike he will be paralyzed and unable to attack. In this case, Fay's TA is a single flash and Colossus can have his ST increased.

Nike and/or claw won't work against sea bonze.

The Sea Bonze nullifies not only special abilities, but special limitations as well. For example, a Hell Hound will inflict full damage on a Sea Bonze, which is brutal if the Bonze isn't occupying high level Water land.
